What does the FBA fee box mean?
Fulfilment by Amazon charges per unit by size and weight. The box starts at the standard parcel up to 400 g rate (£3.01) plus the 1.5% fuel and logistics surcharge. Replace it with the rate for your item from Amazon's rate card.
What is the digital services fee?
Amazon charges UK-established sellers 2% on top of its selling and FBA fees.
How is the fee worked out?
From each marketplace's own published rates for the category you pick, on the total the buyer pays (item price plus postage). Where a rate changes with the price, it is applied the way the marketplace describes it: eBay and some Amazon categories charge each rate on the part of the price inside its band, while Amazon categories with a lower rate for cheaper items charge one rate on the whole price.
What does VAT registered change?
If you are not VAT registered, the 20% VAT that eBay, Amazon and OnBuy add to their fees is a cost you can't reclaim, so it is included. TikTok's rates already include VAT. If you are VAT registered (standard scheme), you pay VAT on the sale price, so revenue is the price divided by 1.2; you reclaim the VAT on fees, so fees are counted without it; and you should enter your item cost without VAT. The Flat Rate Scheme is not covered.
What is not included?
International and cross-border fees, eBay's fee caps, shop subscription discounts and below-standard surcharges, items eBay charges private sellers for after an authenticity check, Amazon storage and other FBA charges beyond the fulfilment fee, monthly plan fees, introductory rates TikTok offers some new sellers, and the Flat Rate Scheme.
How up to date are the rates?
Every rate was read from the marketplace's own fee pages on 3 Oct 2026. The pages are linked under each result. We check them every week and update the tables when they change.
Is anything saved?
No. The figures are worked out in your browser and kept only in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a result.
