Terms of Service

PriceWatch records the price and stock status of Amazon UK products you nominate by ASIN, on a schedule you choose, and emails you when a price moves by more than the threshold you set. It keeps a history so you can see how a price has behaved over time.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Amazon. “Amazon” is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. We read the same public product pages any visitor can see.

You must give a working email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe it has been accessed by someone else.

One person or business, one account. Do not share logins or resell access.

Every completed price check costs £0.002. You buy checks in advance as credit. Credit is drawn down as checks run, and the balance is verified before each one — if you run out, checks stop. They do not continue on account and your balance cannot go negative.

A check is billed when it runs, whether or not the page returned a usable price, because it costs us the same either way. Checks that we refuse for lack of credit are never billed and are recorded in your ledger so you can see exactly what was skipped.

The minimum interval between checks on any one ASIN is 3 hours. Prices shown are in pounds sterling and are the total you pay: any VAT is already included and nothing further is added at checkout. Our VAT number is GB472906080.

Prices come from Amazon product pages at the moment we check them. They can be wrong or out of date: a page may change between checks, a listing may show a different price to different visitors, or a fetch may fail and leave the previous value showing.

Do not use PriceWatch as the sole basis for a pricing, purchasing or repricing decision. It is an informational tool. Verify anything that matters against the listing itself. If you spot a wrong figure, the Report button on any row flags it to us directly.

We do not promise uptime. We may need to pause the service for maintenance, and things outside our control — Amazon changing their pages, an upstream provider failing — can interrupt checking. If checks cannot run, they are not billed.

You agree not to:

• attempt to access another customer’s account or data;
• probe, scan or attack the service, or bypass its rate limits;
• resell or redistribute the data as a competing price-tracking product;
• use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend an account that does any of these. If we suspend you for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund unused credit.

Your watchlist, your settings and anything you type into your own custom columns remain yours. We use them only to run the service for you. You can export your watchlist to CSV at any time from the dashboard. See our Privacy Policy.

You can stop using our services whenever you like and delete your account by emailing us. Deleting the account removes your watchlist and history; we keep billing records for six years because UK tax law requires it. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you are a consumer.

Otherwise, and particularly given section 4: we are not liable for business losses, including lost profits, lost sales, or decisions made on the basis of a price we reported. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
