What does PriceWatch actually do?
You give it Amazon UK ASINs. It checks each one on the schedule you pick and records the price and stock state every time, so you get a history rather than a snapshot. When a price moves more than your alert threshold, it tells you.
How much does it cost?
£0.002 per check. Nothing else — no monthly fee on the pay-as-you-go plan. Ten ASINs checked every 3 hours is 2,400 checks a month, so £4.80. The same ten checked once a day is 300 checks, so £0.60. Buy checks in bundles starting at £10; bigger bundles carry a bonus. There are also fixed monthly plans on the pricing page if you would rather have a predictable bill.
Why can I not check every 5 minutes?
Three hours is the hard minimum, enforced on the server. Two reasons: Amazon prices genuinely do not move fast enough to justify it, and every check costs real money — an ASIN on a 5-minute interval would burn 8,640 checks a month (£17.28) for one product. If you truly need faster, email us and say why.
What happens when I run out of credit?
Checks stop. They do not silently fail and they never go negative — the balance is checked before every single lookup, and a refusal is recorded so you can see exactly what was skipped and when. Your ASINs, history and settings stay exactly as they were. Top up and everything resumes on its normal schedule.
What is Priority for?
It only matters when a lot of your ASINs come due in the same cycle: High ones get checked first. It does not check them more often — the interval does that. Leave it on Medium unless you have a specific reason.
I paused an ASIN. Where did it go?
Nowhere — it is still on your dashboard, greyed out, with a Paused badge, and there is a Paused filter above the table. Pausing stops checks and stops billing for that ASIN; the price history is kept. Open its Settings and set it back to Active to resume.
Can I bulk-add ASINs?
Yes. Download the CSV template from your dashboard, fill in one ASIN per row (with an optional name and interval), and upload it. Up to 2,000 rows per file. Imported ASINs arrive unpriced and fill in on their first scheduled check.
How accurate is the price?
It is the buy-box price at the moment of the check, from the live product page. If something looks wrong, use the Report button on the row — it flags that exact ASIN for us to look at, and you will see it marked as pending on your dashboard until it is resolved.
Is my watchlist private?
Yes. Every query is scoped to your own account — there is no shared view and no way to reach another account’s ASINs, history or tickets.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Pay-as-you-go credits do not expire and there is nothing to cancel. On a monthly plan, cancel any time from your account page and you drop back to pay-as-you-go at the end of the period — any credits you hold stay yours. For a refund, just email us.
How do I get help from a human?
Open a ticket from Support once you are signed in. Every reply is emailed to you, and the thread stays attached to your account so we can see the ASINs you are asking about. You can also write to [email protected].
Still stuck?
Email [email protected] — a real person reads it. If you already have an account, open a ticket instead so the reply is threaded to your ASINs.
